Trying to stay cool!

Hello everyone,
The team has been serving with their whole hearts. With the heat in the 90's and the humidity at 100%. you could only imagine what that feels like. the heat doesn't really change that much in the evening. The greatest joy is to see the kids serving without grumbling or complaining.

Yesterday (Aug 3) we were able to paint most of the dorms for the the 50 orphans at Good Rest Mission. It was a pleaseure to serve along side the Haitian students as they joined us in painting their dorm rooms. We are are getting to know the students and building some life long relationship. Yesterday I met a young man who learned english by reading the dictionary. The people are filled with much life here, time is not important just relationship, what a joy!

Jesus Said that he wanted to make our Joy full. I think we have tasted that a bit in Haiti. Last night we were able to visit another orphanage that housed over a 100 orphanes. Zach and Louie were able to dance last night and the kids were so excited to see it. One of the kids battle zach and louie, he was amazing and only 12 years old. He won, their was a home field advantage. Ryan and zach were able to close the evening off with worship. what a blessing to see students serving.

Cassandra and micheal have been serving the kids in VBS, many of the kids have taken a liking to them. they have grown so much, you can see their gifting begin to shine. Martha is doing an incrediable job with the vbs. kids are coming everyday.

I will post some picture up soon as I am able. Keep us in prayer as we hit the streets this evening (Aug 4) Zachand louie will be dancing on the streets and we will give a gospel message.

We have been building some great friendship with kyle, patrick , devlin and molly. the team is really becoming one.

Thanks for your prayer
The Haiti Team from SD.
